The whole crew must also get the European Health Insurance Card. This card is useful if you get sick abroad. The EU-card validates that you are insured in Sweden. The card gives you the right to get necessary medical health care benefits during your stay abroad in an other EU/EES-country.
You also need to get all the licences and certificates for the yacht. The certificates and licences needed for this trip are Certificate of Registration and Certificate of Nationality, which both can be recieved from the Swedish Register of Shipping. It costs about 110€. The yacht also needs has a certificate that shows membership in a yacht club, for instance Svenska Kryssarklubben, (the Swedish Sailing Association).
You must have a licence to use a VHF and an EPIRB. For the EPIRB you also have to get a MMSI(Maritime Mobile Service Identity) number.
